Identity Control Filters

Protecting your email address and privacy

Having your name placed on an unauthorised mailing list (or multiple lists) can cause hundreds of spam emails to be sent to you every week.

Firstwave protects your email identity using a number of clever techniques, such as a framework of delayed email returns that inhibit automatic address harvesting systems and a collection of refined filters and membranes which block unwanted emails.

Firstwave then goes one step further by providing you with a unique protected email address that you only use for subscription to lists, newsletters or for general use on the web.

This works by keeping your 'business' email account free from direct marketing material.

Firstwave gathers the list emails for you and forwards them to your real address (because they are legitimate subscription emails).

If your 'list address mailbox' later starts to clog with spam/unwanted email, we simply delete the old 'fake address' and give you a new 'protected' email address.

Our 'Identity Protection' system delivers your email to your true email address while hiding your identity from spiders and probes which crawl the web, building spam mail address lists.
