About Firstwave
First Wave Technology Pty Ltd was incorporated in 2001 to develop a fast, secure, internet data delivery platform and to bring new-generation security solutions to Australian businesses.
Over the next few years, it developed its data delivery platform in partnership with Telstra subsidiary Telstra Research Laboratories. The result was a scalable, secure Software as a Service (SaaS) framework that processes high volumes of email and web traffic 'in the internet cloud'.
First Wave also partnered with world-leading security vendors to ensure its own advanced delivery capabilities were matched by world-class anti-virus, anti-spam and other security services. Its partners ensure the best detection, protection and lowest-possible false positive ratios in the market.
