Firstwave Technology Pty Ltd was incorporated to deliver “In-the-Cloud” Email and Web Security Services to Australian Business.
The original design, development and deployment of the purpose built solution was carried out in partnership with Telstra Research Laboratories and the initial service offering was delivered in 2005 as the exclusive of Email and Web content scanning provider to Telstra Wholesale
Today the Managed Service offering has evolved to one of Australias most sophisticated content scanning system. It provides industry leading Cisco scanning technology coupled with patented proprietary content management and classification systems deployed in multiple state of the art “in- the-cloud” scanning towers that are scalable, fault tolerant, provide low latency and unparalleled resilience. The solutions are based on proprietary, patented technology.
Infrastructure is centred in Australia and residies close to the heart of the internet core. 24*7 service is based in Australia and supported by Industry leading SLA’s.
Telstra has remained a major partner and re-seller of Firstwave’s Cloud Based Security Services and has recently re-signed for a further 3 years specifically to supply Firstwave advanced content security services to Telstra’s top 400 Enterprise Customers.

The Company has a significant long term contracts with Australia’s largest Telecommunications carrier
Telstra and as well as long term relationships with Australian companies of the stature of Medibank Private, JB Hi Fi, West Australian TAB, The Good Guys and Myer as well as many others.
